Robert Luther III
Mr. Luther is a magna cum laude graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and a graduate of Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law, where he served as President of the Federalist Society and as an elected member of the Student Bar Association. Immediately after graduating from law school, he accepted a litigation fellowship with Pacific Legal Foundation, located in Sacramento, California where he worked on cases involving eminent domain, employment quotas and other public policy issues. Mr. Luther returned to Virginia to join the diverse practice of Knicely & Associates where he focuses on civil and constitutional litigation, eminent domain, contracts and real estate. Mr. Luther is admitted to the Virginia and District of Columbia Bars and the bar of the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the U. S. Courts of Appeal for the Fourth and Ninth Circuits. He has written numerous articles on issues of constitutional law and has made presentations and appeared in forums exploring those issues.
