Knicely Publishes Eminent Domain Law Update

The May 2011 Issue of the Fee Simple, The Newsletter of the Virginia State Bar Real Property Section, includes an article written by James Knicely entitled “New Developments and Proposals for Change in Virginia Eminent Domain Law” discussing recent developments in eminent domain law, including a discussion of recent amendments by the General Assembly of Virginia to Titles 25.1 and 33.1, recent decisions by the Virginia Supreme Court and other courts relating to eminent domain law, and a proposed constitutional amendment that would substantially change the law of eminent domain in the Commonwealth of Virginia in favor of property owners.
