Knicely Speaks to Rutherford Institute Interns

James J. Knicely was a guest speaker on July 22, 2013, at the Rutherford Institute as part of its Summer Speaker Series. Knicely spoke on the topic of “Liberty and Security” focusing on the recent Free Speech decision by the United States Court of Appeals in Tobey v. Jones, 706 F.2d 379 (4th Cir. 2013), involving the constitutional liability of TSA agents for interfering with Tobey’s Free Speech rights in his display of the 4th Amendment on his chest at a TSA checkpoint. Knicely served on a team of lawyers bringing the case for Mr. Tobey.
