Luther to Clerk for Federal Appeals Court Judge

Robert Luther III is leaving the firm to accept an appointment as law clerk to United States Court of Appeals Judge Daniel A. Manion in South Bend, Indiana. Judge Manion was nominated by President Ronald Reagan and confirmed by the Senate as an appeals court judge for the Seventh Circuit in 1986. Commenting on Luther’s departure from the firm, Jim Knicely said “We will miss Rob in our practice here, but Judge Manion will now have the great benefit of Rob’s practical experience in the law, as well as the friendship we have enjoyed knowing Rob. This is a wonderful opportunity for Rob to gain more valuable legal experience working for Judge Manion in a preeminent court system.”
